Hollywood, CA (PRWEB via PRWebDirect) January 23, 2006 -- Big Screen Entertainment (OTC:BSEG) has announced the casting of acclaimed actor and soap opera legend, Thaao Penghlis, in its upcoming murder mystery, "The Mirror," set to begin principal photography in February.

Penghlis is best known to television viewers as the villainous "Tony DiMera" from NBC's "Days of Our Lives." In 2005 he was nominated as "Best Villain" by Soap Opera Digest and most recently, won the title of "Best Television Villain" in his home country of Australia.

He is also remembered for his portrayal of Victor Cassadine on the long running soap opera, "General Hospital". He also starred for two seasons as master of disguise "Nicholas Black," on ABC's "Mission Impossible."

BSEG's President of Business Affairs, David Zappone, stated, "We are very fortunate to have Thaao as part of this growing ensemble cast. I've been a huge fan of his for years and his notoriety will bring commercial viability to this film, especially with our international buyers."
